HELP CENTER

Acupuncture

Acupuncture may help ease types of pain that are often chronic such as low-back pain, neck pain, and osteoarthritis/knee pain. It also may help reduce the frequency of tension headaches and prevent migraine headaches. Those who had undergone post-operative and chemotherapy nausea and vomiting too may benefit.

Everyone’s body constitution is different, so the number of treatments needed will vary. Among the determining factors are the type of condition; whether the condition is chronic or acute; and the vitality of the individual.

Basically, each session takes 20 to 30 minutes. It also depends on the sensitivity of each individual and the kind of diseases and conditions.

No. You should continue to follow your current physician's instructions. Please do keep in mind that acupuncture is used to complement and supplement your physician's treatments not to replace them. You can discuss the problems with both acupuncturist and physician.
