Mdm. Narimah Daud

Physiotherapist

Madam Narimah Daud is a highly competent physiotherapist practicing in SOL. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy since 1983. Madam Narimah graduated from University of Teesside, which is one of the premier educational institution in UK with her Bachelor Degree in Applied Rehabilitation (Physiotherapy). To enhance her professional development and knowledge in the industry, Madam Narimah undertook her Master Degree in Sports Science from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) to facilitate a comprehensive understanding on  the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function of human body. Having an earnest desire to explore the various aspects of physiotherapy, Madam Narimah obtained her PhD focusing on the research area of Gerontology- Awaiting Viva Voce, from Universiti Putra Malaysia which is about the study of the social, psychological, cognitive, and biological aspects of aging.

Madam Narimah is consulted nationwide for her proficiency in Manual Therapy for spinal pain, stroke rehabilitation and sports physiotherapy. She is also a certified Muligan Manual Therapist and also Bobath Practitioner specializing in the treatment of neurology-related issues. Upholding the great sense of responsibility to the society, Madam Narimah is also currently lecturing in the International Islamic University Malaysia to share her expertise with the young generations in helping the need recover from a wide variety of physical challenges.

In the past, Madam Narimah had been practicing in a variety of settings from wellness centres to hospitals. And her practise in hospitals is close to 25 years which well-equip her with the practical skills and knowledge on dealing with a range of problems which affect movement using exercise, massage and other physiotherapy techniques.
