About Rachel Raj
Rachel Raj is a neurotherapist with an Honours Degree in Applied Psychology and Human Behaviour from McMaster University. She brings together a strong academic grounding and hands-on experience in caregiving and research, and is committed to supporting children’s emotional, behavioural and developmental growth.
She has worked closely with individuals across a wide range of ages, and brings a calm, patient and nurturing approach to her sessions with children. Her focus is on building genuine connections, understanding what each child needs, and creating a safe space where they feel heard, understood and encouraged to grow.
Her background in psychology and research, particularly in cognition, behaviour and wellbeing, allows her to apply evidence-based strategies in every session. She is especially interested in helping children develop communication skills, emotional regulation and positive social behaviour through engaging, child-centred approaches.
Rachel has also supported older adults through caregiving and community programmes. That work sharpened her empathy, her active listening and her understanding of person-centred care, and it shapes the holistic approach she now brings to both children and their families.
At SOL Integrative Wellness Centre, Rachel works from the belief that every child has the potential to thrive when given the right support, patience and encouragement. She works closely with families, giving parents the knowledge and confidence to support their child’s development well beyond the therapy room.
